With the, welcoming and very enjoyable, first week gone, we are faced with the start of the proyect itself. First of all was the, in our case, long search for a real problem in the area we were supposed to work on. As I've been living in Montevideo it wasn't difficult for me to get people who work with children and were willing to be interviewed. However, it was really a stroke of luck for me that my sister had started to volunteer in a group that helps children that live in critical social and economic conditions.It was fortunate as well that Romina participates in a similar activity at church so every one in the group had plenty of people to go ask for an interview.
After that, came the analyisis time, which I'll talk about in the next post.
