When I first heard we were going to go to Campus Party for free I was so eager to do so. Now, looking back, I think I was kind of overestimating the event. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time and don't regret for a minute going there, it was an amazing weekend for me and for everyone in Lapassion, I think. However, some things did disappoint me.
There were some really informative and entretaining talks, I enjoyed a couple. But overall, most talks covered the same topics, and there was an extremely obvious line of thought they wanted to put across. Like, literally, they repeated the same words in different talks. So that let me down a little bit, and so did that every presenter that with a huge fervor displayed "solutions for the future" somehow missed most of the world overwhelming current problems. We spent three days there, and only once I heard the word "unemployment", whilst other like "poverty" or "hunger" didn't reach my ears. I won't even mention what the main speaker of the event caused in me.
Nevertheless, if I ended the weekend with a huge smile in my face, maybe it wasn't so bad after all, was it?
