Week 8, or should we call it programming week. The only step towards the prototype that didn't involved programming was buying the schoolbooks that we used. We bought a math book and a language book and for the prototype only 2 problems from each one were "personalized" for 3 different topics: horses, ballerinas and nature. "Why those topics?" You may be asking yourself, and my response to that is" Worry not dear reader, we will get there.".
Programming was the hardest and the more time cosuming part of all the prototyping part. In total it were programmed 18 webpages totally responsive both on mobile and tablet size, embedded with javascript, jquery, CSS and HTML5.
Testing was really fun. Samantha, Ana's daughther, who is passionate about horses, ballerinas and nature was our "test subject". The results were really positive because, all we comproved some doubts that we had and learned a lot with her. She liked booQRit and learned how to use it really fast, she loved the photos we used but she would press all the answers that she could until she got to the right one...but these conclusions were all told in our class presentation. We also consulted a teacher about how she felt about bookQRit and using it in her classes and the review was positive.
We are very happy with the prototype but we know that it isn't even close to the booQRit we imagined, but prototypes serve the purpose of testing, and that was what we did.
